Andrea Benci began crafting wooden and iron staircases in 1977. In 1982, he opened his own business.
The company made inroads in the field by actively participating in trade fairs, bolstered by Giuseppe La Fico Guzzo joining us as Sales Director.
Michele Benetti joined us as Production Manager, and we expanded with exports to other European countries.
After an intense period during which we participated in the world's most prominent international fairs, we decided to open New Living—a production plant in Cecina that immediately established us as a standard setter in the field.
We began to work with new materials, like stainless steel and glass, and our exports grew beyond Europe..
New Living kept growing, first with a new 1,400-square-meter production plant with an impressive showroom, and then with the opening of a new showroom in San Miniato, devised to give interior designers from all over Tuscany easier access to samples of our work.
The strength of a company is shown by its constant willingness to invest in improving the services it offers. Starting in 2021, Newliving expanded further, reaching over 3,500 square meters. In the following years, the company equipped itself with state-of-the-art machinery, including a vertical storage system, an automatic packaging machine, and a new laser-cutting machine.
We are three friends, partners, and artisans with different skills and areas of expertise who joined forces to create and nurture a complex, exciting company that has rapidly become a standard setter in the production of staircases for interior design.
Our company structure and strong local roots help us excel in our field. We start from the aspiration to embody Italian excellence, a source of inspiration, and the ultimate goal of what we do. Our inspiration flows from the stunning landscapes and the rich artistic and historical heritage of Tuscany.
